Action & Extreme Sports

Extreme sports and action sports photography demand a unique approach tailored to the sports themselves. Growing up taking part in kitesurfing, surfing, skiing and snowboarding and with years of experience photographing these sports, I specialise in capturing the raw energy and excitement.

My approach to extreme sports photography is grounded in telling the story of each athlete and conveying the energy of their sport. With an eye for perfection and a focus on capturing every aspect of the experience, from the action and the atmosphere to the details and emotion, I aim to create images that showcase the incredible courage, skill, and determination of action sports athletes.

From football and rugby to basketball, hockey and netball, each sport has its own unique challenges and nuances. As an avid sportsmen myself, I have the understanding needed to capture the life of each game.

Motorsport

A passion for cars is a real motivation while covering motorsport and automotive events. From track days to car meets and everything in between, doing one of the things that I love will really show through the pictures that I deliver to you.

Automotive photography isn’t just about capturing the action and exciting moments, there’s so much more to emotion and details behind the scene. I enjoy taking on a reportage perspective when photographing car races and events so that my imagery can tell a narrative to anyone looking.

Individual Sports

Athletes are some of the most impressive, talented and inspiring people. Whatever the nature of the sport, be it a distance runner, a boxer, a swimmer, a pole vaulter or a bodybuilder, every athlete has a number of things in common; hard work, dedication and passion. My goal is always to show these common traits through my photography.

What sports do you photograph?

As a sports photographer, I have experience covering a wide range of sports events including football, rugby, hockey, surfing, kitesurfing, boxing, motocross, motor racing, horse racing and more. I am always open to exploring new opportunities and working with clients to capture their specific sporting events.

What is your pricing structure for sports photography services?

My pricing structure for sports photography services varies depending on the specific project, including the length of the event, the number of images required, and any additional services. I work closely with clients to provide a customised quote that fits their budget and expectations.

How long will it take to receive the final photos?

The time it takes to receive the final photos will depend on the size and complexity of the project. However, I always strive to deliver the final photos as quickly as possible without compromising on quality. I will work closely with clients to establish a timeline that meets their needs and expectations. Upon request it may be possible to arrange a selection of photos to be turned around on the same day.

Can you watermark the photos for us?

Yes, at the request of the client, I am able to resize and watermark my photos along with a branded cover page so that a full photo album from the event is ready for uploading to social media. This will need to be arranged beforehand with the relevant logo or watermark file being produced to me before the event.

What equipment do you use for sports photography?

I use the latest, professional equipment so that I can supply the highest quality photos from your sport event. My cameras, lenses and flashes are flagship models from Nikon which allow me to deliver great images even in the most challenging conditions.

Do you hold public liability insurance?

Yes, I hold fully comprehensive £5 million public liability insurance as well as professional indemnity cover. If I am managing a team of photographers who have been sourced by myself then I will always ensure that they are also covered.

What is your experience in sports photography?

I have been a professional sports photographer for several years and have covered numerous sports events ranging from high-profile to grassroots club level. I have experience working with a variety of sports teams and organizations, and I am committed to capturing the energy and excitement of every event.
