From the moment I step onto the festival grounds, I’m immersed in the energy and excitement of the event. My goal is to capture that same feeling through my photos and transport you to the heart of the action.

Photography became a passion of mine from a very young age. This passion for photography naturally grew into a career over time with my artistic values developing and a hunger for perfection. I’ve been a festival photographer in Hampshire and across the UK since 2012; the main reason that I love festival photography is the ability to naturally, document and capture moments that remind people how it felt to be there.

I believe that music festivals are more than just events – they’re experiences that stay with you forever. That’s why my photography goes beyond just capturing the performers on stage. I aim to give you a sense of what it’s like to be there, to feel the energy and excitement of the crowd, and to experience the festival for yourself.

Performers & Talent

Through many years of experience I have learned to work sensitively with performers, tour managers and stage crew. I cover all areas of performances from the pit, the crowd and the stage to make sure there is a wide variety of photos. I always keep in mind the usage of my photos such as whether they will be used for marketing and therefore may need to incorporate negative space for copy or for use on social media where they may need to fill the frame or allow for square cropping.

Lifestyle & Atmosphere

These are the photos that really sell the festival and it’s very important to have a healthy bank of these to use over the year. Throughout the course of the festival I’ll always be on the lookout for shots that sum up the festivals atmosphere. Whether it’s guests having fun in the VIP area or big wide crowd shots at sunset, I’ve got it covered.

Production & Show Design

Whether it’s the stage design, CO2, flames, confetti canons or fireworks; arguably the all important hero photos from a festival are becoming increasingly important from a selling point. Through many years of experience working with all types of production, from lasers to pyrotechnics, I am able to confidently and safely capture these elements of festival productions.

Pre-Event, Behind The Scenes & Sponsors

The pre-event coverage and behind the scenes photos for your festival can easily be overlooked. Whether sponsors have requested certain coverage of their displays and signage around the festival site or if you need to document what each festival tent and stage looks like, ready for next year, then I’ve got it covered. Even though they aren’t the most glamorous of photos, they can be very helpful in selling the festival from a corporate point of view to sponsors and clients in the following years. This category of photo doesn’t just stop when the gates open, I’ll continue shooting behind the scenes and sponsor related content throughout the course of the festival.

What festivals do you photograph?

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph some amazing music festivals in my career as an event photographer. From small and intimate festivals such as Blissfields and Teddy Rocks to internationally renowned festivals such as Boardmasters and NASS. Can you help us find other photographers?

I have a strong network of some of the best festival and event photographers in the UK that I work with regularly. I can offer advice and help with sourcing and managing a team for your festival or music event no matter how many photographers you need.

What image licenses do you include?

I offer a commercial image license for all of my festival, music and event photography coverage. This allows for a smaller creative fee. Other image licenses can be discussed but this must be agreed pre-event. More information can be found here.

What is your pricing structure for music festival photography services?

My pricing structure for music festival photography services varies depending on the specific project, including the length of the event, the number of images required, and any additional services. I work closely with clients to provide a customised quote that fits their budget and expectations.

How long will it take to receive the final photos?

The time it takes to receive the final photos will depend on the size and complexity of the project. However, I always strive to deliver the final photos as quickly as possible without compromising on quality. I will work closely with clients to establish a timeline that meets their needs and expectations. Upon request it may be possible to arrange a selection of photos to be turned around on the same day.

How far will you travel and where are you based?

Being based in Winchester, Hampshire means that I am very well located to cover festivals all along the South coast however I am available to travel all over the UK and worldwide to cover events.

Do you hold public liability insurance?

Yes, I hold fully comprehensive £5 million public liability insurance as well as professional indemnity cover. If I am managing a team of photographers who have been sourced by myself then I will always ensure that they are also covered.

Can you supply photos on site?

If you wish to publish photos on-site while the event is ongoing or shortly after, I can deliver a select range of images throughout the day. It is always useful to discuss a social media plan and a shot list beforehand so that I can prioritise my work.
